ABOUT ME
As long as I can remember, my passion is coming up with creative ways to express and create an idea through design, and the prospect of generating positive social impact.
I chose to study Architecture because I am passionate about the idea of creating something that doesn't exist. Throughout the years studying Architecture at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I enjoyed the most all the design courses that involved creating new ideas from scratch.
Following graduation and an internship in the field, I worked in two architectural firms that provided me experience in two types of roles as an Architect. In my first full-time position, at Cordeyro Associates, I worked in brand new residential and corporate projects, as well as renovations. What I liked the most about it was that, since it was a boutique firm, I worked directly with its head and I had the possibility of designing and giving many of my own ideas into those projects.
Afterwards, I joined a larger firm, Montes Laudano Architects, where I had the opportunity of working with a group in charge of coordinating the construction of flagship stores for a leading French luxury brand in US locations. This implied being part of larger projects, collaborating with many team members, and interacting with designers, contractors, and suppliers located in different countries.
Both experiences were extremely valuable and gave me perspective on what different roles entail. They also confirmed what I felt since before choosing Architecture and throughout college: that what I enjoy the most is the initial phase in any project where I have to create something that did not exist before.
